A Full Schedule
and a Few Steps Forward

We have said it before, but it just keeps being true: this may have been Peregrine's busiest month yet! The Peregrine Space team took part in so many great meetings. From events with everyone from partner companies to customers to venture capitalists, July was a whirlwind of calendar invites and successes.

Some of July's key takeaways came from what the team was up to in-between events. The Peregrine Space team continued (and is wrapping up) their fund raise with investors, so keep your eyes out for some exciting announcements in coming days. We also fielded more hardware inquiries from new and pre-existing customers. Lastly, Peregrine continued touring facilities, making progress looking for the right place to settle down, build a nest, and hatch hardware in higher quantities than the current capacity.

Events this month took place at a variety of venues, but at the risk of leaving some locations off the list, here are perhaps the top five coolest (in no particular order): the inside of an airplane hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, a shooting range and social club, a Dodger's game, DTI and SpaceWerx's The BR-DGE (for two separate events), and in the headquarters of our 01 Customer.

BR-DGing the Gap

Influencing the Future at DTI and SpaceWerx's The BR-DGE

This month CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Tyler Ritz, attended the Q3 Industry Mixer at The BR-DGE. He rubbed shoulders with other founders and technologists who are pushing the boundaries of Space and Defense technologies. Then, later in the month, he was joined at The BR-DGE by co-founder, Ian Silverberg, for the On-Orbit Space Logistics Challenge Definition Workshop. The workshop was a two-day event where the US Space Force, through SpaceWerx, brought together industry leaders, business people, and engineers to tackle logistics in the final frontier. How can we service, repair, and refuel satellites? What problems need to be solved to succeed? The days were split into developing problem statements and establishing what the enabling technologies and methodologies are. It was a great opportunity to help guide where the USSF should focus its innovation.

Hangin' Out

Airplane Hangar, Dodger's Stadium, and Shooting Range/Social Club

The Peregrine Space team truly was spoiled this month. Tyler and Ian both got to hang out in Hangar 7 at the Santa Monica Airport for an event hosted by UP.Labs, CBRE, Eagle Law, and TriNet. This was the inaugural Pacific Foundry event and included a moderated panel and mixer. Great conversation, great food, and a spectacular view. Who could ask for more?
Tyler also attended his first Dodger's game this month, sat right behind home plate, and had a fantastic time! Shoutout to Greenberg Traurig (and specifically, partner Chase Means) for the invite and company at the game.
Members of the Peregrine Team were also hosted by SVB and Volund Manufacturing at Hot Rods & Handguns for a social event of shooting and connection.

In July, the team got to tour and have a meeting in the headquarters of our 01 Customer. It was a productive day, and the tour made the Peregrine team extra excited to move the team and hardware into our new facility. Being able to show Peregrine customers around and do in-person demos will be quite the event!

Some time in the Capital

The end of July saw Tyler in the nation's capital, shaking hands with members of the armed forces and having commercial customer meetings all the way in D.C. He toured facilities, walked through hangars, and facilitated new deals for new applications of our hardware.

Completed Objective: Tyler and Ian participated in the On-Orbit Space Logistics Challenge Definition Workshop and made it known that high data rate communication and active relative navigation technologies (lidar and ranging) are necessary foundational technologies for the conceptual goals.

In Progress: The end of July marks the closure of our funding raise for the seed round. Having seen many material changes in customer traction, contracts, and investment in recent months, it is time for the Peregrine Team to shift what focus was on fund raising back toward execution.

In Progress: The Peregrine Space team is looking to move facilities, searching for a location to better suit current needs. The team is narrowing-in on the right location and facility features.
